In 1784 he moved to England, where for nearly twenty years he traveled and preached extensively. He returned to Burlington in 1802 and remained there until his death.".

Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia at front, including inscriptions, stampings, and a bookplate to the front pastedown. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece by Quaker minister George Dillwyn (1738-1820). Ex-library from the Radnor Meeting of Friends and the Valley Friends Meeting. One inscription at front is a signature by an Elijah Waring. There is a Welsh Quaker and writer by this name (1787-1857), but it is unlikely that this book would have made it overseas considering its local provenance. COLR1815ABDG.
